However, sometimes these are misinterpreted and the end product/service does not fulfil the seller's, or indeed, the buyer's expectations. No preference or bias for particular systems will be offered, any selections or suggestions will be made on the best current practice, and where available; 'International', 'National' or 'Certifying Body' Standards will be cited, giving any party the option of an informed choice.
Erimus Technical Limited is a new company with total impartiality. It is the company's intention to offer technical consultancy services to OWNERS, PMCs (Project Management Contractors), EPCs (Engineer Procure and Construct) Contractors and Sub-Contractors.
The company has been formed so as to offer totally professional, independent technical services/advice through any, or all, aspects of; protective coatings/linings, thermal and acoustic insulation (hot, cold, cryogenic) and fireproofing activities of a project or, maintenance programme. Such services can include material selection to suit the local environment of the project/works.

A progressive fabrication related career spanning in excess of 28 years has developed a working knowledge of the engineering, construction industry. Operated from both field and administrative levels, initially as a multi-disciplined time served Sheet-metal Worker/Insulation Engineer, through to supervisory, senior quality control co-ordinator, management and Senior/Lead/Principal Engineer appointments.
Responsibilities have involved all aspects of QA/QC and Technical Client representation, relating to an extensive range of projects throughout the UK, Europe and South East Asia. My industrial experience also played a role in my being elected the Northern regional representative for N.A.C.E. (UK).
Areas covered include: Production of Engineering Standards for FEED (Front End Engineering Design), and EPC (Engineering Procurement and Construction) Projects. Standards include; Protective Coatings/Linings, Insulation (hot, cold, cryogenic, dual temperature & acoustic), External Passive Fire Protection of equipment supports and structures, Coating & Wrapping of buried pipe-work. Implementation of ISO 9002, Implementation of Works Procedures, Generation of Works `Method Statements', Overseeing and auditing of sub-contractors.
Project types include: Ship Out-fitting, Hook up of Oil/Gas platforms, onshore construction of modules, construction and maintenance of petrochemical, pharmaceutical and Nuclear power sites.
